When two people find each other and decide they want to spend the rest of their lives together, that is the binding decision that you're agreeing on with your partner that through thick and thin you'll will prevail through it all. I believe that with that said, it is in defeat to even Murphy's Law that you will be at war with anything that would try and get in your way of marital success. Having been married only 2 years, I've learned in a very short time how challenging marriage can be at times. A good friend once told me that whoever said their marriage was perfect was a f*&^ing liar! She's definitely right and if you're reading this, thank you for telling me that. Sure, while marriage is a beautiful gift handed to you by god, it's your responsibility to work hard at it on a daily basis to make sure no part of it falls through the cracks because once it does, your foundation can begin to deteriorate. It is when you find yourself at that very moment of giving up that the strength of love pulls you back up and tells you to keep fighting. Perseverance, devotion and patience is the virtue of love. It is when you find yourself with a dyer need to maintain a healthy relationship even if it at times, you just need to vent and let go of the negativity. To such analogy, in today's society, it's super easy to assimilate to the lifestyle of those single or divorced by accepting their influence. It's rare to hear about 25-year marriages these days. We look at our parents, grandparents or what may have you and only hear it from them how they kept their love alive. Well, I'm proud to say that my marriage speaks for itself. I think we've actually fought a demolition war and made it back alive! lol* Maintaining structure, ordinance and like always, healthy balances, we've been able to heal from some of the most chronic destructions. I'm very much in love with him and couldn't be happier. My motive here isn't to talk about my marriage as I lead a very private life (besides my MySpace pictures, lol). My motive is solely pure fascination on how easy I see it to be giving up on your marriage. I pride myself in everything I've gone through in my life both marriage-related and personally. We always want to say we tried everything once right? Well, besides infidelity, I believe you grow with your partner and can find yourself at times still yearning for somewhat of a liberating lifestyle. It is possible, with respect and friendship, you two can find yourselves enjoying life's experiences together! Don't give up on your love, it's a beautiful thing!
Good night...
